AquaC Skimmer Box for Remora Pro w/Rio 1400

The AquaC Skimmer Box for Remora Pro w/Rio 1400 serves two functions: First, it draws water off the surface of the tank, which increases the skimmer's overall performance. Second, it helps to catch any stray micro bubbles that escape from the skimmer so that they won't enter the tank.

  • Designed for use with the AquaC Remora Pro Protein Skimmer with Rio 1400 Pump
  • The AquaC Remora Surface Prefilter is a special box designed to hide the skimmer pump, thereby creating a more aesthetically pleasing aquarium
  • Skims water off the top of the tank, which is often coated with a heavy load of organics. This can improve skimming by as much as 20% (much darker, smellier foam), and the prefilter has a slotted edge just like an expensive overflow box
  • Contains a bubble eliminating sponge to get rid of those micro-bubbles that sometimes escape back to the aquarium
  • Water return area can also serve as a media chamber for those who choose to use activated carbon or phosphate removing compounds
  • Surface Prefilter installs in seconds and requires no tools

  • Dimensions (L x W x H): 10" x 8.34" x 3"
